SPORTS UPDATE 03/05/19

We’re gonna talk today about Clovis vs. Hobbs in boys’ basketball. You’re gonna say, well didn’t they just play on Saturday? Yeah, they’re going to playing this Saturday because Clovis got the 9 seed in the state tournament, Hobbs got the 8 seed. They’ll be playing each other on Saturday at 7 p.m. in Hobbs. Portales (11^th seed) vs. Roswell Goddard (6^th seed) will be playing each other on Saturday at 6 p.m. in Roswell. Texico (4^th Seed) will play on Saturday at home against Menual. Three teams in Class 1A. The Elida Tigers (9^th seed) vs. Gateway Christian in Roswell at 6 p.m. on Saturday. Melrose (5^th seed) vs. Animas in Melrose at 5 p.m. Fort Sumner (2nd seed) 6 p.m. at Fort Sumner against Tohajiilee.
