SPORTS UPDATE 02/28/19
Final score last night indicated that the Greyhounds lost to Grand Canyon by a score of 95 to 64, but what the final score doesn’t indicate is that the Greyhounds were only down by 8 points to Grand Canyon in the early part of the second half of the game. They’ll be off until next week when they play in the Lonestar Conference. Plenty of basketball today on the High Plains. Good luck to the Clovis Wildcats guys, they’ll be playing today at home at 7:00 p.m. For the Texico boys, they’ll be on the road against Santa Rosa at 6:00 p.m. and the Portales Rams Boys, they have a district tournament semi final against Artesia at 6:00 p.m. at the Ram Athletic Center. They’re asking if you go to the game to please wear red. If you’re unable to make the game, it will be broadcast on 105.9 KSEL Country.
