Clovis Municipal Schools 2020-2021 athletic physicals scheduled for Saturday, July 18
CLOVIS (KSMX)- Clovis Municipal Schools will be sponsoring athletic physicals on Saturday, July 18 for Clovis students participating in athletics during the 2020-2021 school year.
Physicals will be administered in the Rock gym at Clovis High School during the following times:
- Girls (Grades 7-12) 8 a.m – 9:30 a.m.
- Boys (Grades 7-12) 9:45 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.
A fee of $5.00 will be charged for all physicals; however, no student will be denied a physical due to the inability to pay. Annual pre-participation physicals will be waived for returning students who submitted an athletic physical in 2019-2020.
Below are the following instructions on how physicals will be administered.
- Face masks must be worn to receive a physical.
- After sign-in students, will be required to wait in vehicles until staff comes outside to escort them into the gym.
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the New Mexico Activities Association has waived the annual preparticipation physical examination for returning students who submitted an athletic physical for the 2019-2020 school year provided there are no existing physical or additional health reasons that might preclude participation in sports.
Prior to a physical being administered, the following online forms must be completed by both the parent & student.
