XCEL ENERGY OFFERING WINTER SAVINGS TIPS
NEW MEXICO (KSMX) – Xcel Energy is offering energy-saving tips that can help customers reduce energy use, save money and stay comfortable when the outside temperatures drop. Tips provided by the company include installing a smart thermostat, that saves on energy cost by adjusting the temperature when customers are asleep or away from home, keep the thermostat at a moderate setting, replacing or cleaning air filters, running a ceiling fan in a clockwise direction to push warm air down from the ceiling, and keeping interior doors open to help air circulate heat.
