WEEKEND COVID UPDATE
Over the weekend, the State of New Mexico has reported 9 total additional positive COVID-19 cases for Curry County, raising the total number reported on Friday February 5th, from 4,777, to 4,786 for the county’s total amount. With no deaths reported.
The Plains Regional Medical Center has released the following statistics, as of this morning Monday February 8th, 2021: 9 people are currently hospitalized with the virus, and two are in the ICU.
Curry County, and the rest of our listening area is still currently categorized in the RED LEVEL. The public is encouraged to continue to abide by COVID-safe practices.
