WEEKEND COVID-19 UPDATE
Over the weekend, The New Mexico department of Health released COVID-19 numbers for Curry County. On Friday December 18th there were 29 new positive cases reported; raising the county total from Thursday to 3,711 to 3,739 due to a case duplication, with one death reported.
As of Saturday, December 19th, the Plains Regional Medical Center reported has reported the following statistics; 16 people are currently hospitalized with the virus, and 5 are in ICU.
