VIDEO STILLS FROM ALLSUPS ROBBERY RELEASED

On Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 10:23 p.m., employees at the Allsup’s located at 2600 W. 7th St. called into Clovis Dispatch and reported an armed robbery that had just occurred. The suspect was described by the clerk as an African American male, approximately 6 foot, 300 pounds. Employees stated the male came into the store wearing a camo hooded jacket, a face covering, with a firearm in one hand, and a paper bag in the other. With the store clerks at gunpoint, the suspect demanded money from the cash register be put into the paper bag.

The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and no one was hurt during this incident. Video of this incident was provided to Clovis Police on June 28, 2022. The surveillance video was reviewed and screenshots of the suspect have been attached to the Clovis PD Facebook page from that video.

One particular image shows the suspect with their hood pulled back. The suspect’s face appears to be of lighter skin tone. Additionally, due to the build of the suspect, law enforcement is not ruling out that this could be a female.

This case is currently being investigated by the Clovis Police Department’s Detective Unit. The Clovis Police Department requests that any person having information related to this incident, contact the Clovis Police Department at 575-769-1921.
