Updated New Mexico COVID-19 cases: Now at 624, one additional death

SANTA FE (KSMX)- New Mexico state health officials on Sunday announced 81 additional positive tests for COVID-19 and one additional death. Curry County remains at 6 cases and Roosevelt County remains at 1.

Today’s announced cases include additional positive tests from the La Vida Llena long-term care facility in Albuquerque, where one additional resident and two additional staff members have now tested positive for COVID-19.

As of today, there are 45 individuals hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19 and a reported 130 COVID-19 cases designated as having recovered by the New Mexico Department of Health. The number of deaths in the state related to COVID-19 is now 12.

Including the above newly reported cases, New Mexico has now had a total of 624 positive tests for COVID-19:
