Update on Federal Small Business Lending Programs

SANTA FE (KSMX)- Today, April 24, at 1:30 the Small Business Administration and staff from the New Mexico Governor’s Office will join with the Economic Development Department for a discussion about the Coronavirus “Phase 3.5” relief bill.

The $484 billion coronavirus “Phase 3.5” relief bill passed by the Senate and House of Representatives is now awaiting to be signed into law by President Trump, would amend the CARES Act and replenish the small business rescue program known as the Paycheck Protection Program.

Representatives from the Small Business Development Center and DreamSpring will also be on hand to discuss how businesses can be prepared to apply for the money and offer guidance if they already applied.
