UPDATE: Lowest number of in-patients reported statewide

SANTA FE (KSMX)- Eight new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Eastern New Mexico by state health officials, as well as 132 additional cases statewide, on Monday.

Curry County has had a total of 558 cases of the coronavirus with a reported 170 individuals having recovered. Roosevelt County has had 166 confirmed cases with a reported 58 individuals recovering.

Kaye Green, CEO of Roosevelt General Hospital, reported that the 121 patients hospitalized statewide has been the lowest number of in-patients reported in several weeks.

New Mexico has now had a total of 22,444 COVID-19 cases:
