TWO ROCKET DOCKET BILLS AIMED AT EASTERN NM PASSES HOUSE
NEW MEXICO (KSMX) – Two bills part of the “rocket Docket” passed the New Mexico House of Representatives yesterday. The first bill, HB 203, is meant to expand economic opportunity, and will include value-added agriculture to our statewide economic development plan. HB 229 also passed as part of the rocket docket, which would bring expansions to the Roswell Airport.
This bill capitalizes on the economic potential of the existing infrastructure at the Roswell airport and will be a major benefit to the surrounding communities and the entire state. Both bills now head to the Senate for consideration.
