TWO NM TEACHERS RECEIVE FUNDS FOR SCIENCE RESEARCH

Two teachers in New Mexcio received money in order to help mentor their students in science research. KRQE reports that Alan Daugherty from Melrose High School and Nate Raynor from Mescalero High School, both received $10,000 from the Society for Science and The Public. This money will allow the teachers to pick up science kits and safety equipment. Additionally, it will allow them to help lead students as they enter their research in science competitions.
