TWO ARRESTED IN BAR FIGHT SUNDAY
CLOVIS (KSMX) – Two Clovis men appeared in court Monday via video display from the jail, charged with aggravated assault and negligent use of a deadly weapon. Clovis Police jailed 22-year-old Hayden Blanton and 27-year-old Terrance Martinez early Sunday morning after a bar fight. A statement from the police department says one of the men even pointed a gun at a bar employee. The men attempted to escape the parking lot as police arrived but were stopped nearby and arrested. Blanton is also charged with aggravated assault on a police officer for allegedly trying to run over the responding officer with his pickup as he escaped the parking lot.
