THREE GOVERNOR ELECT CABINET PICKS ANNOUNCED

NEW MEXICO (KOB) – Three cabinet picks for incoming Governor-elect Michelle Lujan Grisham’s office has been announced. Olivia Padilla-Jackson, who is currently the Budget Officer for the city of Albuquerque, has been tapped to head the Department of Finance Administration. Sarah Cottrell Propst has been nominated fore Secretary of Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources, and is the current executive director of the Interwest Energy Alliance. Finally, Dr. David R. Scrase is being tasking with taking over the Human Services Department. He is currently a professor of internal medicine and geriatrics at the UNM School of Medicine. KOB-TV reports that the three nominees are subject to Senate confirmations once the 2019 Legislative session begins.
