THE NEW MEXICO CLEAN AND BEAUTIFUL TEAMS UP WITH CURRY COUNTY
CLOVIS (KSMX)- The New Mexico Clean a Beautiful grant will be partnering with the Curry County and will be able to contract with civic organizations and youth groups to collect litter. They will reimburse the organizations based on $5.00 per hour for every youth under the age of 18 who assists in picking-up trash. The mission of New Mexico Clean & Beautiful is to inspire and educate people to take action every day to improve and beautify their community environment. Through beautification, litter reduction, recycling initiatives and education, communities have built and maintained appealing public spaces, removed millions of pounds of trash from landscapes, recycled waste that would otherwise have ended up in landfills, and taught youth about the value of clean, green and beautiful spaces.
