Texas Department of State Health Services reports a total of 129 cases of COVID-19 in the panhandle region.
PANHANDLE, TEXAS (KSMX)- The high plains of Eastern New Mexico, only minutes from the Texas border, has seen a surge of positive cases across the Panhandle of Texas as well in New Mexico due to more testing.
With daily announcements from the Texas Department of State Health Services, a total of 129 cases are in the panhandle region.
This brings the total of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the panhandle region to 129:
- Hemphill County: 1
- Gray County: 5
- Moore County: 6
- Swisher County: 1
- Potter County: 40
- Randall: 36
- Castro County: 11
- Deaf Smith County: 5
- Oldham County: 2
- Donley County: 5
- Dallam County: 1
- Hutchinson County: 2
- Hansford County: 1
There are seven cases in Eastern New Mexico:
- Curry County: 6
- Roosevelt County: 1
