SWEAR IN CEREMONY FOR DAVID ROBINSON
CLOVIS (KSMX)- Tomorrow (July 17), we say farewell to District 1 Clovis City Commissioner, Ladona Clayton. The swearing in ceremony for Plateau’s CEO, David Robinson, will take place at 9:00 am in the assembly room of Clovis City Hall.
The Clovis City Commission unanimously approved Mr. Robinson’s appointment to fill the remainder of Commissioner Clayton’s term, which expires in March 2020, at their regular meeting held June 20. Lansford had stated in a past interview with the Eastern New Mexico News, putting Robinson in the position is a benefit for the city because it gets his knowledge and expertise in a position, he’d never run for himself, and it also cleans the slate for the upcoming election.
