SUNDAY’S HOMICIDE VICTIM IDENTIFIED
On Sunday October 10, 2021 at about 1040 hours, the Clovis Police Department received a call to 125 El Camino for a injured subject from gunshot wounds.
The Clovis Police Department responded with Clovis Fire Department (EMS) and found a 28-year-old male, who has now been identified as Ivan Luevano, with multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso area. The male was taken by ambulance to Plains Regional Medical Center – ER where he died of his injuries shortly after arrival.
This case is being investigated as a homicide and the 9th Judicial District Major Crimes Unit has been activated to investigate the incident. This is an active investigation and additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
