STREETS IN CLOVIS WILL BE BEGINNING REPAIRS
CLOVIS (KSMX)- Due to the heavy rains and unprecedented flooding, Curry County Road Department advises drivers to take extreme caution while traveling all county roads. A significant number of roads were damaged due to flooding and there will be a significant number of potholes, mud and debris tracked onto roadways county wide. The Curry County Road Department maintenance crews have begun repairing washouts, rebuilding roads, and patching potholes caused by saturated roadbeds. Maintenance crews are making every effort to quickly repair the roads in Curry County. Motorists are asked to watch for construction personnel/equipment working in the area and reduce speed while work is taking place.
