State Department offers services to eligible families
New Mexico’s Early Childhood Education and Care Department have announced a range of resources that can help parents in New Mexico this school year.
Cabinet Secretary, Elizabeth Groginsky, explained in a press release that the department can assist with finding and paying for childcare, can provide access to free New Mexico PreK programs, and can help parents learn skills by providing home visitors, prenatal programs, and more, for eligible New Mexican families.
Families earning less than 400% of the federal poverty level (which is $120,000 annually for a family of four) can apply for assistance programs online.
