CANNON AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. – Local and regional businesses are invited to attend the 27th Special Operations Contracting Squadron (SOCONS) Industry Day on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Clovis Civic Center. The event will feature opening remarks from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m. from Wing leadership.
Industry Day provides a unique platform for dynamic collaboration and networking between contracting officials from Cannon Air Force Base and business leaders from across the region—including Clovis, Portales, Amarillo, Roswell, Lubbock, and Albuquerque—to foster strategic collaboration and provide insight into the federal contracting process.
This event aims to facilitate direct engagement between Cannon AFB contracting officers and businesses, while also equipping companies with the knowledge and tools needed to grow through government partnerships.
Representatives from the Curry County Chamber of Commerce will be in attendance, highlighting the importance of strong local business ties to the continued success and economic development of our local area.
The Industry Day will focus on:
- Sharing the U.S. Air Force’s vision for recruiting, marketing, and brand management.
- Outlining the strategic changes to how we will collaborate with industry.
- Gathering industry input on innovative marketing solutions and competitive practices.
- Provide a 101 for government contracting.
