SENATOR UDALL OPPOSES FUNDING FOR WALL FROM MILITARY BASES
NEW MEXICO (KSMX) – Senator Tom Udall has followed his fellow Democratic senators in calling for explanation of military money being shifted to fund President Trump’s border wall. This just days after news about $1.5 billion in military funding. That includes almost 175 million in improvements to military bases around New Mexico, including $42 million from Cannon Air Force Base. Udall calls it a raid on military funding. He has urged the department of defense to defend military personnel.
