SENATOR UDALL DEMANDS ANSWERS FROM AIR FORCE
NEW MEXICO (KSMX) – US Senator Tom Udall wants answers from the Air Force. In a hearing Wednesday to review the Air Force Budget, the New Mexico Senator pushed for answers to the groundwater contamination at Holloman and Cannon Air Force Bases. Udall chided officials, including the Secretary of the Air Force -for what he called an epidemic. One that impacting surrounding communities. Udall asked for the Air Force to cooperate with remediation efforts and new legislation. He expressed significant disappointment at the Air Force’s lack of effort and understanding of proposed new legislation.
