SENATOR TOM UDAL TO GIVE FAREWELL ADDRESS

Senator Tom Udal is set to deliver his farewell speech tomorrow morning, December 8th at 9:00 local time.
Udall will reflect on his service in Congress and discuss his vision for tackling the crises facing American democracy and our planet’s environmental sustainability. Udall has served the state of New Mexico for nearly 30 years.

Following his service as New Mexico’s Attorney General, New Mexicans elected Udall to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1998 and to the U.S. Senate in 2008. Udall has consistently championed environmental conservation, climate action and priorities for Indian Country throughout his career in Congress. Udall has also led efforts to reform our democracy and return power to the American people, promote diplomacy instead of endless wars, and prevent further Senate gridlock by reforming Senate rules.
