SENATOR HEINRICH OPENS APPLICATION FOR SERVICE NOMINATIONS
NEW MEXICO (KSMX) – Senator Martin Heinrich announced that he will accept applications from high school students and recent graduates seeking a service academy nomination. The first information session will take place next Thursday in Farmington, followed by sessions in Santa Fe, Albuquerque and Las Cruces. The information sessions give prospective applicants and their families the opportunity to speak with representatives from each military academy and learn what is required to submit an application through Senator Heinrich’s office. Parents or prospective applicants who are unable to attend a service academy information session are encouraged to visit Senator Heinrich’s Academy Nominations page for application deadlines and more information about the nomination process.
