SCAM ALERT FOR THE LOCAL BUSINESSES IN THE AREA
CLOVIS (KSMX)- Earlier this afternoon (June 20), a Clovis Community business owner reached out to Rooney Moon Broadcasting with a concern about a representative claiming to be from a Radio Advertising & Radio Accounting Services. These individuals are calling local businesses in the area and representing themselves as an account executive with Rooney Moon Broadcasting radio. The number that this scam is using is 575-222-7980.
If you own or operate a business, please know that all RMB account executives are local. You are advised to not give them your information and to tell them you’ll call them back at the corporate number and hang up.
RMB corporate numbers are 575-763-0338 in Clovis and 575-359-1759 in Portales. If an overly aggressive, pushy person on the line saying they represent RMB, just hang up and call the RMB radio station.
