ROOSEVELT COUNTY ROAD WORK
PORTALES (KSEL) – The Roosevelt County Road Department will be working on South Roosevelt Road 2 from NM 236 west 3 miles to SRR AD beginning Tuesday, Oct. 15.
The road department will also be working on South Roosevelt Road L between NM 235 and NM 114 on Thursday, Oct. 17. Both of these roadways will be a chip seal overlay as part of Local Government Road Fund Grant.
The county is asking all residents to drive slow and watch for heavy equipment and personnel.
Roosevelt County Road Department currently has all blades working on maintenance following the recent rains. If you need to report a County Road in need of immediate maintenance due to a valid safety concern, please contact the Road Department at 575.356.5307.
