ROAD CLOSURES IN CLOVIS AND PORTALES
CLOVIS (KSMX) – A few road closures to announce that will affect your travels. First, the Clovis Police Department announced via social media that the railroad crossing at Norris Street and Mabry Drive will be closed this morning until at least 10:00 a.m. BNSF will be conducting repairs on the rail line. For those traveling to or from Portales, you can use the Hull Street Overpass, the MLK crossing at Martin Luther King Boulevard and Grand Street, the NM 467 overpass and the railroad crossing at Sugarbeet and Mabry Drive. Additionally, a road closure in Portales has also been announced. The Public Works Department has notified City Administration that 3rd Street between Avenue A and Avenue B will be closed for three weeks for repairs. Please use caution in the work zone and watch for heavy equipment in the area.
