ROAD CLOSURES FOR SMOKE ON THE WATER EVENT
CLOVIS (KSMX)- Starting at 7 am on the 4th, city officials will begin to close off the streets surrounding Greene Acres Park. Beginning today through July 5th, Main Street from 21st to Purdue will be closed in order for the fireworks shooter to be able to set up. On July 4th, from 1:30 pm to 10 pm, 21st Street from Mitchell to Main, and Mitchell Street from 21st to Purdue will be closed as well. Absolutely no weapons of any kind or personal fireworks are permitted on the premises at Smoke on the Water.
All times mentioned are subject to change and depending on the weather. If by chance the events are rained out, the fireworks celebration will be moved to the next day, (Friday, July 5th). In that case, only the fireworks show will be held, without the other pre-celebrations such as the music or food.
