PORTALES (KSEL)- According to an update post from Roosevelt General Hospital’s Facebook Page, there has been another confirmed positive COVID-19 case in Roosevelt County and also in Curry County. CEO, Kaye Green, has provided daily updates on the Facebook page and announcements on COVID-19 efforts in Roosevelt County. She stated that in the county a total of 219 individuals have been tested for the virus. According to state health officials, Curry County has tested 581 individuals and Quay County has seen 125 tests altogether.
Positive Cases in each county:
- Curry: 13
- Quay: 4
The number of positive cases above includes all current and previously recovered cases in each county. Recoveries in the state are reported in the state as a whole. Because of patient confidentiality laws, the state has broken down each county and demographic of positive cases.
As of today, there are 157 individuals hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19, and 705 cases are designated as having recovered by the New Mexico Department of Health.
According to an update, RGH will be hosting a Drive-Thru COVID-19 Testing at ENMU football stadium parking lot this Saturday from 7 am to 1 pm.
If an individual thinks they have been exposed by someone or feel that they may have symptoms similar to the virus, please they are encouraged to attend. The free test is available for adults and children. All visitors must stay in the vehicle and a staff member will assist you. After testing, you will be given instructions on how to retrieve your results.
