RESIDENTS IN FARWELL SHOULD BOIL WATER AFTER LEAK

FARWELL, TX (KSMX) – Parmer County Sheriff’s Office announced yesterday evening that due to a major water leak in Farwell, there was a reduced water distribution system pressure. As a result, the City of Farwell notified residents that for about the next 72 hours, or until further notice, water should be boiled prior to consumption. According to their announcement on Social Media, this includes hand washing, face washing, brushing teeth and drinking. Residents may have experienced water outages, or low pressure, however, crews were working to restore that yesterday evening. For questions regarding the boil notice, contact the Parmer County Sheriff’s Office or the Farwell Police Department.
