REALITY CHECK DAY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
CLOVIS (KSMX)- In the upcoming 2019-20 school year United Way Eastern New Mexico and the local banks are teaming up to bring Reality Check Day to all schools in the Curry & Roosevelt Counties.
This is event will be on 7 different dates and benefit approximately 900 students.
The United Way program is seeking volunteers who can make this event possible. Each day about 30 volunteers are needed to create a stimulating learning experience allowing these young people to step into the world of adult responsibility:
· Prioritizing spending and decision making
· Dealing with the financial stresses of making ends meet
· Handling the challenges when what they have just isn’t enough.

- Rural Schools Oct 2, @ ENMU Ballroom
- Clovis High School Freshman Academy Oct 23, Nov 20, Feb 26, 2020, Mar 18, 2020
- Portales High School Jan 15, 2020, Feb 12, 2020
