“A bat was diagnosed with rabies in the Las Vegas, New Mexico area on 6/14/2023. No confirmed human, pet, or livestock contact was made. Please reach out to your local NM Department of Game and Fish warden if you have concerns of rabies or other diseases in wildlife.
