PUBLIC ENTITIES TO HOLD SPECIAL MEETINGS

EASTERN NM (KSMX) – A few special meetings will be held this week. First, the Roosevelt County Board of Commissioners will meet this afternoon. During their special meeting, the commission will canvas the 2019 City of Portales Election Results, as well as tour the remodeled areas at the Law Enforcement Complex. The special meeting is set for today, 1:00 p.m. at the Roosevelt County Courthouse Commission Room. Then coming up tomorrow, the Clovis City Commission will meet for their special meeting. Commissioners will review a request for approval of the operating and use agreement between the City of Clovis and Curry Resident Senior Meals Association, a request for approval to submit an application for 2020 General Obligation Bond Capital Outlay Funding through the New Mexico Aging & Long-Term Services Department for the construction of a Senior Center at Hillcrest Park. The special meeting is set for tomorrow 5:15 p.m. On Wednesday, the Clovis Schools Board of Education will hold their special meeting to review the applications of finalists for the position of superintendent of the schools. The board will meet on Wednesday, 5:30 p.m. at the Schools.
