PORTALES POLICE DEPARTMENT WARNS AGAINST A SCAM IN THE AREA
PORTALES (KSEL)- The Portales Police Department has been informed that there are people calling and soliciting for donations to a police alliance group.
“This is a scam. The number reported calling is from 575-446-1135. Do not send money or provide financial information to people claiming to be associated with law enforcement groups”.
The department will never call claiming to be collecting for warrants.
