PORTALES ON WATER RESTRICTION UNTIL THURSDAY
PORTALES (KSEL)- The City of Portales is currently renovating the City’s water storage tanks and has asked the public for their assistance starting Monday through Thursday.
• Monday 8/19/19
• Tuesday 8/20/19
• Wednesday 8/21/19
• Thursday 8/22/19
They will be interrupting the well-field flow to allow the contractors to work. Officials stated that they do not expect any water outages; however, will need you to restrict your water use to essentials-only during these days.
Please do not water yards, wash vehicles, fill pools, wash driveways or parking lots, or perform other intensive water use activities during this time.
Their is an additional time that they will need to ask for your continued help over the coming months to complete the project.
