Portales Municipal early/absentee voting has opened
PORTALES (KSEL)- According to a press release from the Portales/Roosevelt Chamber of Commerce:
Absentee Voting for the March 3 Regular Municipal Election began on February 4 and will end on February 28.
Voters wishing to vote Absentee-by-mail may request an application to vote by calling (575)356-6662, option 1 #1 for the City Clerk or option 1 #2 for the Deputy City Clerk.
The application will be mailed to your address followed by the absentee ballot upon the return of your application. Ballots may not be carried out of the City Clerk’s Office.
Voters wishing to vote prior to Election Day may come to the Portales City Clerk’s Office during regular business hours (8 –5), Monday through Friday, February 4 through February 28 and Saturday, February 29, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and cast their vote by voting machine tabulator.
