PORTALES FOOD DISTRIBUTION TO TAKE PLACE
PORTALES (KSEL) A special food distribution will take place in Portales one week from Saturday. According to United Way of Eastern New Mexico, the distribution will be held at Central Christian Church in Portales on Main Street, beginning on November 17th at 9 AM. All new clients will be asked to fill out an income eligibility form required through the Emergency Food Assistance Program, or TEFAP. United Way is also currently looking for volunteer groups in Portales; these groups will aid in the distribution process to provide food to families of Roosevelt County.
