POLICE APPREHEND MAN WITH ACTIVE FELONY WARRANTS
CLOVIS (KSMX)- On August 14th, Clovis Police Officers were dispatched to a residence on Delta street in an attempt to locate a suspect who has active felony warrants and had been identified to possibly be carrying a firearm.
After surrounding the residence, Officers were given permission to enter the residence by the owner in attempt to locate the foretold suspect. The unnamed man exited the rear of the house where he was detained and handcuffed. Officials ran his name and information through dispatch which returned with an active warrant out of Muleshoe.
The suspect was searched for contraband and/or paraphernalia and none were found.
After confirming the warrants, the man was transported to the Curry County Adult Dentation Center and booked on a fugitive from justice criminal complaint.
