Clovis ECHS earns “exemplary” status from state education department

Media Release, City of Clovis:

The Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce and Clovis Economic Development are pleased to announce that the 6th Annual Pattern Energy Back to School Expo was an astounding success.

The event was held at the Clovis Civic Center, where 2500 backpacks were given out to students and families. House of Fadez generously gave 185 haircuts on site and presented 50 haircut vouchers to students to use in the future, we are so happy to have them in our community.

Bicycles and laptops were donated by Wal-Mart and McDonald’s; the winners were excited to win such incredibly useful prizes, the smiles on their faces below show just how happy they were.

The event also featured performances by the Clovis Aerial & Circus Arts, lots of fun in the Plateau Gaming Trailer, a selfie booth donated by Jocks on Wheels and a thrilling time in the bounce house from Gibson Party Rentals.

Thank you, again, to our wonderful sponsors, Pattern Energy, Walmart, House of Fadez, McDonald’s, Clovis Economic Development, Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce and the Clovis Civic Center for always supporting our students and community.
