ONE DEAD AND ONE WANTED AS PERSON OF INTEREST IN CLOVIS HOMICIDE
CLOVIS (KSMX)- On Thursday, at approximately 6:41 p.m., Clovis Police Department Dispatch received a 911 call from the 1000 block of North Lea Street, Clovis, New Mexico.
The caller relayed low law enforcement that a male subject had been shot multiple times. When Clovis Police Officers arrived on the scene, they were directed to a deceased male in the kitchen of the residence where they found that the man had apparently died from the gunshot wounds.
The deceased 36-year-old male has been identified as Jahmall Burge.
The Clovis Police Department Special Operations Unit and the Major Crimes Unit is investigating this incident as a homicide.
Law Enforcement is attempting to locate Johnny Ray Vigil, 26 years of age, for questioning in reference to this incident. Vigil is a person of interest relative to this homicide.
