OFFICIALS WARN TO KEEP VEHICLES SAFE THIS HOLIDAY SEASON
EASTERN NM (KFDA) – With the holiday season coming up, burglary and thefts will be on the rise. Officials are warning people in the area to keep their vehicles safe during the winter season; KFDA reports. Recommended step you can take to protect yourself include hiding your valuables from plain sight, such as cell phone cords and other device accessories, park in well-lit areas or attended lots, don’t leave personal documents in your car, never leave you car running while unattended, and lock your vehicle.
