OFFICIALS ANNOUNCE NUMBER OF RESIDENTS AFFECTED BY WIND STORM
EASTERN NM (KSMX) – As Xcel Energy officials finish completing the power outages caused by last weeks wind storm. The final numbers of those affected in the region were released. According to Wes Reeves with Xcel, close to 157,000 residents were affected by the storm that began Tuesday evening. More than 600 employees and contractors, including logistics and back office personnel, completed 3,5000 outage orders since late Tuesday. Power has been restored to everyone, but 43 customers.
