NUMBER OF ROAD CLOSURES TO TAKE PLACE IN CLOVIS
CLOVIS (KSMX) – A number of road projects over the next little bit is expected to affect your travels. First, the Curry County Road Department has announced they have scheduled a cross over culvert installation on Curry Road M between State Road 245 and Curry Road 13; according to a release from the county. Due to this work, that portion of road will have to close down between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. tomorrow. Motorists are asked to seek an alternative route. Then beginning one week from Monday, crews will be closing the intersection of Norris and 7th Street, for approximately one month, weather permitting. Additionally, 7th Street between Sycamore and Norris will also be closed until June to facilitate utility road construction work for the City of Clovis 7th Street Reconstruction phase II Project. Detour signage will be placed in the area, and crews are asking to use caution in the work zone.
