NMAA will release plans for 2020-2021 fall contact sports
SANTA FE (KSMX)- Following the governor’s announcement that contact sports (football and soccer) for the fall season will be canceled, NMAA Executive Director Sally Marquez released a “message of hope”.
During the announcement, Marquez stated that superintendents, athletic directors, and coaches across the state are working on decisions/planning that will be released next week to make sure that fall sports for the 2020-2021 season occur.
Plans are also being discussed for other sports that have yet to be canceled.
