NM STATE POLICE TO CONDUCT DWI PATROLS
NEW MEXICO (KSMX) – The New Mexico State Police announced with the approach of a new month, they will be conducting sobriety checkpoints and saturation patrols, in addition to registration, insurance and drivers’ license checkpoints during the month of April in all New Mexico counties. Through a press release, the State Police added that they are bringing awareness to an effort in reducing alcohol related fatalities, and that these checkpoints are helping change society’s attitude about drinking and driving.
