NM RACING COMMISSION TABLES DECISION
Albuquerque (KSMX) – We’ve received word that the New Mexico Racing Commission has decided to once again, table the decision to award the 6th Racino license until the litigation that was initiated by Lordsburg is resolved. Good news coming out of this however is that the current commission is drafting a letter to Governor-elect Lujan Grisham asking that she keep them in place until the whole process is complete. If she agrees, the commission members will not change at this time and the process will not have to begin all over again.
