NEW MEXICO’S UNEMPLOYMENT RATE DROPS FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE

SANTA FE (KSMX)- New Mexico saw a slight drop in unemployment from 5% to 4.9% for the month of June.

That accounts for about 15,000 new jobs in non-agricultural payroll employment. The majority of jobs came in the private section.

June numbers are still higher, than a year ago when they were 4.8% for June 2018.
