NEW MEXICO STATE SENATOR OF BROADWOOD INVITES THE NATURAL RESOURCE COMMITTEE TO EASTERN NEW MEXICO

CLOVIS (KSMX)- New Mexico State Senator PatWoods of New Mexico  told the Water and Natural Resource Committee of the concerns and priorities in his area and invited the interim committee to hold one of its interim meetings in Eastern New Mexico. This specific committee focuses on many issues including water, solar, wind, oil and natural gas; to issues of farming, ranching, forest and watershed restoration, to recreation and game and fish management in the state’s natural resources of rivers, mountains and valleys. The Senator suggested that during the interim, they should look at the issue of Agri-tourism and the potential liabilities associated with it.

Senator Woods represents District 7 which includes the Curry, Quay, and Union Counties.
