NEW MEXICO OFFICERS TOP THE LIST AS MOST OVERWORKED

NEW MEXICO (KSMX) – A new study recently released shows New Mexico again, at the top of the list. According to safewise.com, police officers in the land of enchantment, are the most overworked in the nation. The data taken into consideration is crime rates, poverty levels, among others. It showed that in New Mexico, the average officers per 1,000 people is 2.87, which is what most states showed, the state has the third-highest poverty rate in the country, ranks first for property crimes and third for violent crimes per capita, leading to more work.
